Lot while righteous, did not worship God like his uncle Abraham did. He chose the fertile plains by Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham let Lot chose the direction he would go knowing God would take care of him no matter what would happen. Abraham had faith and worshiped God. What did he gain? Everything. Sin affects us and living around sin wears on our faith. Chose your path wisely so that God can be a part of us and our life.
